A few weeks ago Kodi from A Brighter Yellow came up with the fantastic idea to host a blog swap in which people could pair up and send each other a few of their favorite things.
This sounded like so much fun and so I signed up to participate. I am so glad that I did. I mean who doesn't love getting things in the mail?!? I was so excited to start picking up my favorite things for my partner and ended up deciding on a wood wick candle (I love all of my Scentsy products, but there is something about the crackle of a wood wick candle that makes it seem even more like fall), a Ghirardelli milk chocolate and caramel bar (because they're always delicious), and a Starbucks gift card.
When Kodi posted the partners for the blog swap I was even more excited to learn that my partner, Amy from Forever 29 was also a lover of coffee and chocolate. So I happily sent her my favorite things and anxiously awaited the arrival of hers. (Kodi's link up for this swap was actually yesterday, however, due to the snail's pace at which our mail seems to run here, I received my package from Amy this afternoon), and I love all of her favorite items.
I opened a very pretty pink package to find an adorable koozie, earrings, Burt's Bees lip balm that smells absolutely delicious by the way, and a gift card to Target. Does it get any better than that? I think not. Take a look for yourself...
See, I told you, pretty amazing! I especially love the monogrammed note she sent, a nice little personal touch.
All in all, I would say the swap was a success and I had so much fun participating. So a big thanks to Amy for sending me some pretty great items and to Kodi for hosting an amazing blog swap!
