So I remember being pregnant like it was yesterday. It doesn't seem like all that long ago that I first got the positive pregnancy test, so how on earth am I all of a sudden the mommy of a 4 month old?? He has grown so much over the past few months, I can't believe how big he is getting.
He continues to amaze me each day with how smart and funny he is. He may still be small but he has a huge personality (I can already tell he is going to be stubborn just like his momma and daddy).
The past few days have been pretty quiet around our house. It seemed as though Nicholas had started teething as he was constantly drooling, stuffing his hands in his mouth and fussy. I'm not entirely sure what happened to that but all of a sudden he seems to be in a much better mood. He's still drooling constantly and basically anything within arms reach ends up in his mouth but we haven't seen any teeth as of yet.
I have to say that I'm really glad things calmed down a bit though as I'm also working to finish my degree and this current science class is going to be the death of me. I was never a huge fan of science, history was more my thing. In fact, on the first day of my junior year of high school, my best friend and I were placed together as lab partners in chemistry class. By the end of class we had ACCIDENTALLY set one of the ceiling tiles on fire, gotten kicked out of class, sent to the Principal's office and were awaiting the arrival of our parents. Honestly, I don't think they were surprised as we were always finding unique ways to get ourselves into trouble but they knew that this particular incident was, in fact, an accident and the day ended with us no longer be able to be lab partners, in chemistry class or any other science class thereafter. Hopefully my children don't follow in my footsteps lol!
