The tale of the last 2 months

I can't believe it has already been 2 months since my blog went down!  Where does the time go, I mean how does that even happen?

So, where to start...oh yes, back in January I decided to try to change things up a bit on this little ole blog of mine and in doing so I learned a very important lesson...

UNLESS YOU ARE PRETTY FAMILIAR WITH HTML, BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU'RE MESSING WITH IT!!!

Long story short, I screwed the whole thing up.  I don't even know how, that's the worst part.  I'm still not entirely sure what I did but after making some changes my blog was just gone.  I couldn't see it, it wasn't visible at all.

I tried for days to figure out exactly where I went wrong but to no avail.  Thankfully, I had a backup of most of my posts so all was not lost but I still couldn't make the blog work.

Finally, after a ton of Googling and hours of reading through my code lines I was finally able to bring up most of my site.

I have to tell you I was pretty proud of myself.  Here I am, knowing absolutely nothing about computers and websites and I managed (still wondering how) to fix my blog...for the most part anyway.

I spent some time fixing up the place and was all set to take my little blog live again.  I was seriously like a little kid in a candy store, ready to reenter the blogging world, excited to reunite with all the wonderful mommy/blogger friends I have made over the past few months when....

MY ACCOUNT WAS HACKED!!

Yep, that's right!  All the work I had done, the code I had fixed...didn't matter because I couldn't get into see it.

Ugh!  Oh well, I have taken back ownership of my blog and my account in general and while I had to pretty much start from scratch, I did manage to save my posts (thank goodness for back ups)!

So, if anyone is still out there reading my little slice of the Internet here, thank you!  Sorry for the interruptions everyone, we are now returning to our regularly scheduled programming.
