Prepping for the Easter Bunny

I love holidays.  It doesn't matter which one it is, I love it.  The decorating, the baking, the time spent with family.  I love it all.

Well, in about a week and a half, we will be celebrating 2 different holidays in our house.  Obviously the first being Easter.

I've been spending a little bit of time here and there just glancing around on Pinterest, finding a TON of cute Easter ideas, so today I figured I share with you all some of what I hope to accomplish this Easter/Spring season.

A new take on coloring eggs:

Possibly a night time egg hunt:

A festive snack:

And while not technically for Easter, a rainbow treat (just because it looks delicious):

Ah Spring!  Don't you just love Pinterest.

Anyway, moving on.  The second of our celebrations next week will consist of a certain little monkey turning 11 months old again.

Yeah I didn't think that would really work but it was worth a shot!  Mommy is just living in denial of the fact that my little boy will be a YEAR  old in just over a week!

His very first birthday.  Does every year go by as fast as this last one did?  If so, I'm definitely going to need to talk with Doc Brown about the possibility of borrowing his DeLorean and the flux capacitor.  (Sorry, little bit of an 80s reference there)

Anyway, to mark the occasion, we'll be celebrating here on the ole blog for a few days leading up to his birthday on the 9th.  For now we'll just leave it at that :)  Ah, the suspense.

Be sure to check back next week for Nicholas' birthday festivities!
