Welcome one and all to our very first Featured Mommy Monday!

Please welcome our first featured mommy Kelly-Marie and her adorable family.

So now, without further ado, please meet Kelly-Marie.

Introduce yourself.

Hey I'm Kelly-Marie from Our Footprints On The World, I'm a newlywed and of course a mummy that's why I'm here ;)

I love to blog and photograph life as it goes by.

How many kids do you have and how old are they?

I'm mummy to my little Joshua who is 6 and a half months, starting to crawl and keeping me on my toes.

 

What is your favorite part of being a mom?

I have so much love for this little guy, everything he does is just amazing to me.  I love to see him grow and learn everyday, Joshy is such a contented little boy and loves to just play on the floor with his toys and the best part of my day is just to watch him concentrate.

What is the hardest part?

The hardest part I find is when Josh gets himself in a right state, screaming his head off with little tears streaming down his face.  When I've tried everything but he doesn't know what's wrong and I don't know how I can help him.  Most cries I can tell what he needs but usually if he's poorly or his gums are sore there's not a lot I can do to calm him down.

Do you have any hobbies?

I don't have many hobbies but one thing I do love is taking pictures, especially when it's shots of Joshua.  I got my first SLR camera a Nikon D3100 in July of this year and since then I photograph anything and everything.

What is your favorite way to spend your "me time?" (i.e. when kids are napping, with daddy, etc.)

Blogging!  Yep that's right I'm a blogger.  Once Josh is in bed, Matthew (Hubby) goes on his PS3 to play with mates online which means I can spend time on the laptop, chatting on Facebook, editing photos, reading other lovely blogs and posting on my blog.

What made you want to blog about your life and your child(ren)?

I started off making a scrapbook full of photos of Josh and then came across a mummy blog online one day and I've always been into designing web pages and things so I started one myself straight away :)  At first it was just going to be for family and friends but then I found a world of mummy/baby bloggers and so I got myself a name for my blog and joined in.  Josh is amazing to me and I want him to grow up knowing how much we love him and what lovely things we did together.
