Featured Mommy Monday: Jennifer

Hi, my name is Jennifer and I blog over at Feel That Fire! I'm a 30 year old stay at home mom/housewife, blogger, picture taker (I don't consider myself a photographer), crafter! I love my family more than anything in this world and I feel so blessed to have them.
How many children do you have and how old are they?
I have a daughter, Lyla, who will be 3 on the 23rd of this month. I was also pregnant again this year but sadly had a miscarriage in July. But we're hoping to get pregnant really soon. We'd like to have at least one more.
What is your favorite part of being a mom.
I don't think I could pick just one thing that I'd consider to be my favorite part of being a mom. I love that I'm able to stay home with her, be there for her all the time, be the one who teaches her new things. And of course, seeing her do the things that I teach her.
What is the hardest part?
I think that the hardest part of being a mom is the constant worry. I worry about whether I'm teaching her enough, giving her enough one on one time. I worry about why at 3 years old she doesn't sleep through the night. Since she doesn't sleep through the night is she getting enough sleep? Do I feed her the right things? I worry all the time. I probably sound like a crazy person!
Do you have any hobbies?
Before becoming a mom I had a lot of hobbies but not so much now. I love to paint, sew, craft, read, work on our race car with my husband and take pictures. I only recently learned to sew (my husband got me a sewing machine as a wedding present) but I love it. I'd love to take a photography class so I could learn to take better pictures. And reading has kind of taken a back seat to other things but some of my favorite authors are; Debbie Macomber, Nora Roberts and Jude Deveraux.
What is your favorite way to spend your "me time?" (i.e. when kids are napping, with daddy, etc.)
I don't get very much "me time" anymore because Lyla has recently decided that she doesn't need naps anymore and my husband works 12-15 hour days, 6 days a week! But when I do I have a guilty pleasure.. I love to watch Days of Our Lives! My mom watched it from the time I was like 5 and still does.. I'm hooked!
What made you want to blog about your life and your child(ren)?
I originally started blogging when I was with my ex husband and really just needed an outlet to vent to where no one knew me and I could say what ever I wanted. Now I just find it fun and have made some neat friends from it.
What is your greatest hope for your child(ren)?
My greatest hope for my child/children is happiness. That they will always be happy in whatever they choose to do.
