Bathroom vanity makeover

We've been hard at work here in our new house.

In fact, it feels like we've been painting, priming, sanding and building non-stop since we walked in the door.
There is still a ton of work to do (the previous owners were older and didn't care much for keeping up with the cosmetic aspects of the home), but we are completing one project at a time and this past week we finished one that I am particularly proud of.

The vanity in one of our bathrooms needed some work, to say the least.  It was old and outdated but still in pretty decent shape.  So rather than ripping it out and installing a completely different vanity, I put my sanding and painting skills to work.

Here is what the vanity looked like before.

Please ignore the spots on the walls as they were being prepped for paint themselves.
Not the greatest angle but as you can tell, it needed a little improvement.

So after taking out the sink and removing the drawers and cabinet doors, I sanded, primed and painted until it looked like a completely different piece of furniture.
And here is the finished project:

Sorry for the phone quality.
So there you have it.  My bathroom vanity makeover that only took me about a week (while also taking care of my little monkey).
