Hi all! I’m
Samantha, I married my high school sweetheart, went to law school and now I am
a full-time momma, part-time paralegal, and adjunct at a local college! I also
LOVE blogging and have recently started blogging for Chicago Parent online as
well as The Momsay!

How many kids do you have and how old are they?
I have two rambunctious
boys! Charlie is three and Jack is one!

What is your favorite part of being a mom?
Watching my boys
experience all the new-to-them things and seeing them grow and change every
single day!

What is the hardest part for you?
Having two
rambunctious boys! Haha! Seriously though, my boys have personalities that are
night and day and it can definitely be a struggle to try and balance that
throughout the day! Plus, I sometimes forget that Charlie is only three and
doesn’t necessarily understand every single unfairness in this life!

Do you have any hobbies?
I love blogging,
reading (when I can), checking out other blogs, chatting with friends, texting,
drawsomething and finding a great place to have lunch or dinner!

What is your favorite way to spend your "me time?" (i.e. when
kids are napping, with daddy, etc.)
Lately, it’s sleeping!
But I also enjoy catching up with friends that I don’t see often, keeping tabs
on may latest TV shows (SMASH and Once Upon a Time!), and taking pictures!

What made you want to blog about your life and your child(ren)?
After having two
miscarriages, I documented every aspect of my pregnancies. How I felt, my
symptoms, and how each appointment went. I loved having that as a resource and
after giving up on scrapbooking (because it was too expensive AND time
consuming), I turned to blogging! I’ve been going strong over three years and
haven’t looked back!

What is your greatest hope for your child(ren)?
That they will
grow into people who love God, other people and themselves. That they will
enjoy their life’s work to the fullest extent and that they will choose to make
a difference in the world around them. And that when I am old and gray, they
still love me. J
