2011 has been one whirlwind of a year.
We had a baby, spent time in the NICU, dealt with recurring medical issues, I continued with school, became a Scentsy consultant and we bought and moved into our first house. It has been insanely busy, but a pretty amazing year all around.
As the year comes to a close however, I have been thinking ahead about what I would like to accomplish in the upcoming year.
As I looked back over my 101 in 1001 list (yes, I know I still need to finish it) I have decided to make a couple of goals for myself for the upcoming year.
I've decided that what I want most of out 2012 is to remember it. Every single moment.
Nicholas is growing up way too fast and I feel like if I blink, I'm going to miss it all. I want to be able to look back and remember his first years. Not just the big days like his first birthday and Christmas but all of the little memories as well.
So for 2012, I have decided to complete a 365 photo project. One photo a day for a year.
It may sound like a lot but in reality it is only 1 photo a day, I think I can manage that.
And since I will already be taking on one photo project, I figured hey, what's one more! So for 2012 I want to take a photo of the same place every month for a year, (That way I can see how things change over the course of a year) and at the end of the year, create a calendar for 2013.
So yeah, this sounds like a lot to take on in a single year but you know what, I love a challenge. I also love company! So if anyone else is interested in joining me in a 365 photo project, you are more than welcome!
In fact, if some of you would like to join in, I would love to host a link up for everyone to share their photos (I would love to see yours as well)
Hopefully this project will make 2012 a year we'll remember for a long time to come.

I have the project 365 app on my phone! It's fun! But I've been thinking about adding it to my blog at the end of every month.
